Our Story

Dr Naresh K Mangalhara started his medical journey in the prestigious SMS Medical College, Jaipur in 2002 after joining the course of MBBS. After completing his Internship in 2008 he was selected in all India PG entrance exam in his first attempt and joined Government Medical College, Amritsar for his post graduation(PG) in the field of Radiodiagnosis. After completing his PG, he worked as Senior Resident in GMCH Chandigarh followed by being a consultant at Fortis Mohali Hospital. He then joined the department of Radiodiagnosis in his alma mater i.e. SMS Medical College, Jaipur in 2016 after getting selected in Rajasthan Public Service Commission(RPSC)exam. Currently he is working as Deputy Medical Superintendent of the SMS Hosiptal along with being the Associate Professor in his Department.

He was the first and only faculty in whole of the Rajasthan Government Medical Colleges, who has done one year PDCC(Post Doctoral Certificate Course) in Interventional Radiology from the apex hepatobiliary Institution of North India established by the internationally renowned and Padam Bhushan awardee Dr Shiv Sarin i.e. ILBS (Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences) Hospital, New Delhi. He is again the only Interventional Radiologist of Rajasthan who is trained for liver transplant interventions. He also got training of cancer related onco-interventions at the apex Cancer Institute of India i.e. Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Mumbai. He was among the 10 Interventional Radiologist all over India who got training of vascular interventions under MVF(Mumbai Vascular foundation).

In 2018 he passed the prestigious European Diploma of Radiolgy (EDiR) exam conducted by the European Board of Radiology and became the first radiology faculty of Rajasthan Government Medical colleges to acquire this diploma and among the very few in the country.

 

Dr. Mangalhara believes in living life to fullest and he regularly pursues his hobbies like dancing, playing badminton, chess and carrom and also his passions, the biggest one being working in the field of Interventional Radiology. He thus consider himself as one of the luckiest person as his passion (i.e. Interventional Radiology) is his profession.
